Tasty delight

My daughters boyfriend liked this tea when we sampled a few cold-brews at the Monrovia street fair and he isn't even a tea drinker. He has been brewing a cup everyday and it goes a long way since you can steep a few times before having to toss. We'll most definitely be purchasing more in the future. Thank you to the kind lady who let us taste all their samples. Great service and nice to learn where the tea comes from.

Tasty strong tea

Tea is great, food flavor, potent and can be diluted, just wish I knew how the tea leaves expand 50x its size once brewed (which is a great thing) , making the 4.3 oz bag of tea actually many servings, I think that detail should be better known to customers so they feel the value of their purchase. I haven't used the whole container, but it's at least 100 drinks I estimate maybe more since you can brew the same leaves three times, the servings would be a good detail to know too before buying.

I do not miss coffee

This is the best tea that I have ever tasted. It has replaced my morning coffee.

Soooo lovely

Was addicted to the honey black tea until I tried peach oolang! I also find it is more easily contained in tea strainers than honey black. My husband likes it too!

Thank you for your wonderful review! We're delighted to hear that you enjoyed our Peach Oolong tea. It's always great to discover new favorites, and we're thrilled to have introduced you to this delightful blend.

How should I store my tea?

Our packaging is suitable to storing tea for extended periods of time so long as you reseal the packaging as airtight as you can, keep it in a room temperature and reasonably dry place away from light. If you do plan to transfer the tea to a different container, keep it mind that not only should it be airtight, but also keep out light. Thus avoid any glass or plastic that is transparent.

How long does tea stay fresh?

The tea that teawaves offers will stay fresh for up to eighteen months with the exception of the white tea whose flavor will enhance with age.

Where does your tea come from?

All of our tea comes from five tea gardens primarily in Fujian, China where our co-founder Joey is from and has familial ties and we can trust the tea growers and tea makers.

How does caffeine content vary between types of tea?

All tea that comes from the tea plant does have caffeine
that affects people’s bodies in different ways. No matter the tea, though, one
of the most important things we can stress is that the caffeine in tea is
different from the caffeine in coffee! With that being said, as a general
rule—caffeine is more potent in more oxidized teas (black tea), less potent in non-oxidized or hardly oxidized teas (green tea, white tea) and falls in the
middle with partially oxidized tea (oolong tea).
